MOUNT VERNON, AL – October 26, 2021 – Starting November 4, 2021, Waste Pro will be the new garbage, yard waste, and bulk hauler for Mount Vernon residents, servicing approximately 700 new customers.

As part of the transition, garbage collection days will change from Monday to Thursday. Bulk and yard waste pickup will occur on the second Tuesday of each month. Additional information is available at www.wasteprousa.com/mt-vernon. Information is also available on postcards mailed to new customers in recent weeks.

Cart delivery occurred Monday, October 25. Additional carts are available for purchase. If residents have not received a cart or would like to request additional carts, please contact Waste Pro’s Spanish Fort Division/Mobile Division at (251) 653-4774.
