LONGWOOD, FL – October 21, 2021 – Waste Pro is proud to announce the promotion of Tracy Meehan to Communications Director. In her new role, Tracy will oversee all internal and external corporate communication strategies, including press releases, public/media relations, social media, branding, marketing, and company newsletters.
Tracy is a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in multinational business operations with an emphasis in marketing. She joined Waste Pro in 2014 as Municipal Marketing Manager covering Waste Pro’s West Coast Region of Florida. In that role, she was critical in the rapid expansion in one of Waste Pro’s largest markets through building and maintaining relationships with communities and municipalities, searching for new areas for potential opportunities for growth, interacting with customers, coordinating/attending community events, and more.
Además de su trabajo en Waste Pro, Tracy ha estado muy involucrada en su comunidad. In 2016, Tracy was honored as one of Residuos360’s 40 Under 40, which recognizes the inspiring and innovative professionals under the age of 40 whose work in waste, recycling, and organics and have made a significant contribution to the industry. The same year, Waste Pro Founder and Board Chairman John Jennings selected her for the inaugural class of Waste Pro’s Leadership Initiative, a mentorship program designed to develop future Waste Pro leaders.

I’m excited to be more involved with our company-wide communications and marketing efforts,” Tracy said. “My experience in the SW Florida region provided me with a strong foundation and understanding of our culture, operations, and community-focused brand.”
