MILTON, FL – July 7, 2022 – David Steen, a Waste Pro Driver in the Pensacola/Milton Division, has earned his first $10,000 Safety Award. Drivers who go three years without an at-fault accident, injury, or property damage are eligible to earn the coveted award.

David has been with Waste Pro since 2019 and services customers in Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties.
Waste Pro began offering the Safety Award to Drivers in 2004. A similar award of $5,000 is available to Helpers who meet similar criteria. To date, Waste Pro Drivers and Helpers have earned approximately $7 million in Safety Awards. Waste Pro is on track to award $1 million by the end of 2022.
“It’s always a great day when we get to celebrate and honor someone on our team who is actively putting safety above all else,” said Division Manager Rick Chancey. “David is one of our hardest workers and he takes immense pride in what he does. We are proud to have him representing us.”
