City of Belmont Selects Waste Pro For Garbage & Recycling Services
Welcome Belmont residents! We are proud to be your garbage and recycling collection services provider.

Garbage and recycling collection services to approximately 7,000 homes and more than 200 businesses in Belmont city limits are managed by Waste Pro’s office, located at 131 Brickyard Rd, Mt. Holly, NC 28120. Residential garbage collection will be done on a weekly basis, with recycling collection taking place every two weeks. City residents can use their green 96-gallon garbage carts and blue 96-gallon recycling carts for collection. Waste Pro also provides quarterly bulk collection.

Please place your household garbage curbside the night before your scheduled collection day or by 7 a.m. on the day of your scheduled service.

Solid Waste:
- Use the Waste Pro Green Cart with the Blue lid for garbage ONLY.
- Bag ALL garbage before placing it in cart.
- Cart contents only. Garbage will not be collected outside of cart with exception of the weeks following Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

Recycle Right!

- Do not bag any recycling.

Household Yard Waste is collected by the City of Belmont every Wednesday by request only.
All requests for Yard Waste services must be made by contacting the City of Belmont online at CityofBelmont.org or by calling 704.825.0507.
Waste Pro collects Residential Bulk Waste for the City of Belmont. Collection services are on a call-in basis once a quarter.
Bulk Waste consists of items that are too large to be collected as part of the regular weekly roll-out garbage collection process (such as furniture, chairs, mattresses, etc.). This shall not include the collection of appliances, hazardous materials, or construction debris.
