Recently, the County made the decision to award the contract to FCC Environmental (Fomento de Construcciounes y Contratas, S.A., a company based out of Spain). This decision comes despite Waste Pro offering the lowest bid with a proven track record of success right here in Buncombe County.

While this changes our role in the community, we’re not saying “adios”. You’ll continue to see our trucks serving Buncombe County businesses with our reliable commercial waste services as well as residents in neighboring counties.
