MILTON, FL – October 31, 2024 – Waste Pro’s Director of Government Relations in the Coastal Region, Christina Schweiger, has been elected Chairman of the Board for Keep Santa Rosa Beautiful, a conservation nonprofit organization.
With over twenty years in sales and marketing, Christina has longstanding relationships with key community leaders and local government officials. She has worked in the Coastal Florida Region for several years, first as a territory sales manager and now working with municipalities and contractual agreements with counties and cities within Florida’s Panhandle and Southern Alabama.
Louise Biernesser, the organization’s Secretary, shares, “Christina has been a dedicated and valued member of our team, and her leadership qualities and commitment to environmental conservation make her a perfect fit for this important position. We believe her passion for sustainability and community involvement will greatly benefit Keep Santa Rosa County Beautiful and contribute to its mission of promoting environmental stewardship and beautification efforts in our community.”
Christina is active in the local community, including managing the Keep Santa Rosa Beautiful community outreach, and was pivotal in the expansion and grand opening of the Panhandle Butterfly House and Nature Center earlier this year.
