LONGWOOD, FL – April 7, 2025— The Florida Institute of CFOs (fiCFO) honored Waste Pro with a Rising Star award for the second year. Senior Financial Analyst Aren Williams was recognized this year for his exceptional work and profound impact on Waste Pro. His journey from a dedicated team player to a leader shaping the company’s success is truly inspiring. The award highlights his personal growth and his significant role in the organization’s culture. Only ten people were selected for this prestigious award, and Aren’s inclusion is a testament to his remarkable journey.
Vice President of Finance Ryan Lebeau, who nominated Aren, highlighted the pivotal role Aren has played in the company’s growth. He said, “Aren’s financial acumen has been instrumental in our company’s exponential growth, which has seen us expand through acquisitions, new contracts, and the addition of new divisions. His ability to keep things organized in such a dynamic environment is commendable, and this recognition is a testament to his invaluable contribution to our financial team.”
The celebration was held during a recent Orlando Magic game against the Dallas Mavericks at the Kia Center in Orlando. Honorees and their guests enjoyed a private reception during the game and commemorative jerseys.
Aren shared, “This is a wonderful honor, and I am grateful for the confidence and recognition my team has given me with this nomination. At the heart of everything we do, the focus on people and the commitment to making a difference make my job so rewarding. That sense of family comes from the top, and our President and Chief Executive Officer, last year’s Rising Star honoree Sean Jennings, sets the tone. I am thrilled to follow in his footsteps!”
