GAUTIER, MS – May 2, 2022 – Two drivers and three helpers from Waste Pro’s Gautier, MS Division have each earned their $10,000 Safety Award (drivers) and $5,000 Safety Award (helpers) for the second time in their career with the company.
Drivers Steve Bullard and Rickey Walker and helpers Kim McDonald, James Brown and Albert Farver were recognized in April for their safety efforts. They were each presented with a large check and treated to a shrimp boil lunch as a thank you. All of them had previously earned a Safety Award in 2018/2019.
To earn the Safety Award, drivers and helpers must go three years without an at-fault accident, injury, or property damage, maintain a clean truck, and have a strong attendance record.
“These Waste Pros are role models among the crew for their leadership and safety skills,” said Gautier Division Manager John Geboy. “They’ve made a commitment to come home safely to their families at the end of the day and have proven time and again they are what makes Waste Pro ‘The Distinguishable Difference.’”
