Waste Pro’s central Florida Region has been awarded a seven (7) year exclusive contract with multi-year renewal options for all of the residential and commercial solid waste collection services for the City of Winter Park, Florida. The contract also includes single family and multi-family recycling services. Waste Pro was selected in an RFP (Request for Proposal) process where points were assigned based upon experience, past service history, price, proposal professionalism and innovations in service concepts. Waste Pro far exceeded its competitors in all of the service, experience, professionalism and innovations segments and accumulated 35% more in ratings than the nearest competitor. Waste Pro was selected over the two (2) largest companies in the US. The contract starts on May 1, 2009.
