On June 15, 2019, hundreds of children across Manatee County, FL had the chance to see a Waste Pro recycling truck up close. The truck was part of the county’s Touch-A-Truck event at the local library, among fire trucks, police and military vehicles, and more. More than people stopped by the event, and the recycle truck was the most popular spot for the kids. Driver John Curry was inside the truck, allowing children to take turns in the driver’s seat and showing them how it operates. The line to see the truck was so long, Waste Pro’s staff and the truck stayed nearly an hour after the event ended.
