ATLANTA, GA – October 26, 2020 – Waste Pro is proud to welcome Byron Hurtado to the role of Division Manager for both its Atlanta and Atlanta West Divisions.
Byron has been in the waste industry for over a decade, previously serving as a General Manager for Waste Industries USA, Inc. from 2007 to 2018. In that role, he was responsible for profit and loss (P&L) for an operation encompassing four hauling operations and four transfer stations, with an annual revenue of $62.5 million, in the Atlanta area. Prior to joining Waste Pro, Hurtado worked in a similar role for Custom Ecology, Inc., for an operation that covered all of Georgia.

In addition to Management, Byron has experience with accreditation and administration. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Methodist University in 2003.
