Congratulations to Dayna Miller, Waste Pro’s Municipal Marketer for Northeast Florida, on being named Lion of the Year by the Alachua Lions Club.
Miller, who is also a Commissioner for the City of Alachua, has been involved with the organization for several years and currently serves as Club President.
During her time with the Alachua Lions Club, Miller has served on several of its committees to give back to the community, including spearheading an effort to provide financial support to new teachers to supply their classrooms.
“Her service truly epitomizes the textbook definition of above and beyond,” said former Club President Jim Emerson.
