Here at Waste Pro, we always love getting an opportunity to connect with our customers—especially the little ones!
Recently, a mom in Fort Myers reached out to us and told us how excited her two sons get when our drivers go down their street on Thursdays and Fridays—they always wave and sometimes even bring the drivers beverages! Our drivers always make sure to go slowly past their house so the boys can see—but this week, we wanted to do more.
We invited the family to come check out our Fort Myers site in person. The boys, their mom, and their grandmother came by on May 10, and mom says they had a blast. The boys brought their own trash trucks with them (a front-end loader and a rear-end loader) to show to us. Then, we gave each of them gloves and a hat and brought them out to see our trucks up close. Our crew even brought around the older boy’s favorite kind of garbage truck for him to see.
“It’s really great to see an organization that is involved in [the] community and investing in young kids,” the boys’ mom said.
During their tour of the site, both boys told us they want to be garbage men when they grow up!
