John Jennings - President & CEO, Waste Pro USA
For more than 25 years, John J. Jennings has become an icon in this country's solid waste collection, recycling, processing, and disposal industry. One of the most accomplished and knowledgeable professionals in the field, John created Waste Pro USA, Inc. in 2001. Ten years later, Waste Pro is one of the fastest growing solid waste companies in the United States.
From 1992 to 1996, John was CEO of Jennings Environmental Services, the largest private waste disposal company in Central Florida. In 1996, the company merged with USA Waste Services, Inc., now Waste Management, Inc., and John Jennings was named Regional Vice President for the combined operations in Florida and the Caribbean. During that period, Mr. Jennings and his management team (key members are currently with Waste Pro) had direct management responsibility for over 160 municipal contracts that served 1.8 million residences and over 20,000 businesses.
John attended Holy Cross High School in Queens, N.Y. and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration from St. Johns University, in New York. Early in his career, he was a trader/analyst on the New York Stock Exchange. He is the son of a garbage man, Michael Jennings an immigrant from Ireland. Jennings credits his own work ethic to working with his father during summers picking up garbage in New York.
Today, the Waste Pro footprint includes over 75 regional and local operating facilities in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Revenues in 2013 exceeded $464 million, with a staff of 2,600 and a fleet of 1,800 heavy trucks. This growth has been the result of the Jennings Philosophy - providing quality, specialized service; utilizing the best equipment - while growing the business to remarkable levels. In addition to his strong business capabilities, he is also very active in environmental protection. He has served on industry and government committees and panels, and has been a featured speaker on environmental issues, both nationally and internationally.
In 2011, John Jennings was honored in numerous ways. He was unanimously elected to the National Solid Wastes Management Association Hall of Fame, a finalist for the Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur of the Year Award, elected to the Holy Cross High School Hall of Fame, and was the keynote speaker at the 2011 Executive Roundtable for America's solid waste leaders.

Robert Hyres - Board of Directors Member
Bob Hyres has over thirty years of experience in the solid waste and recycling industry. He is a recognized expert in all aspects of solid waste collection, recycling, processing and disposal. He has been a leader in managing very large multiple operations, complex municipal marketing groups and in government affairs. He is also a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is actively involved in key leadership roles in local, state and national environmental organizations. He is the past Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Florida Center for Solid and Hazardous Waste Management (a Florida University System Study Center) and the Florida Chapter of the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). He also currently serves on the Government Affairs Committee for the national arm of the NSWMA. He was recognized for his statewide leadership role in Florida and was awarded the 2002 NSWMA National Distinguished Service Award in Las Vegas.
Bob earned an undergraduate degree in Business and Economics and a Master Degree in Management from Rollins College and the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School in Winter Park, Florida. Bob officially retired from Waste Pro in 2013, but continues to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors and as a Consultant for the firm.

Cort Sabina - CFO, Waste Pro USA
Cort Sabina has 29 years of in-depth accounting and financial management experience. At Waste Pro, he has served as Corporate Controller, Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer and is presently Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Cort was elected to the Waste Pro board of directors in March 2015.
Cort's experience began with one of the Nation's largest Taft-Hartley Health and Welfare and Pension Funds, Central States Southeast and Southwest areas Health and Welfare and Pension Funds in Chicago. During his 10 years with Central States, he held a variety of positions including Staff Auditor and Audit Manager. Widening his accounting skills in public accounting, he joined the "big four" firm Ernst & Young in Chicago, IL. He followed that role as Division Controller with Allied Waste in the Chicago market.
In 2000, Cort moved to Florida to join Florida Recycling Services (FRS). Following an acquisition by Waste Services (Progressive Waste), Cort continued with the company as a District/Regional Controller. Cort joined the management team of Waste Pro USA as Corporate Controller in July 2006.
Cort is a member of the Rollins College Financial Leadership Network (FLN) as part of the CFO Council. Cort is also a member of the fiCFO (Florida Institute of CFO’s).
Ron Pecora - Chief Marketing Officer
Ron Pecora has more than 35 years of professional experience in marketing and brand management, relationship marketing, public relations, advertising, and community engagement. At Waste Pro, he manages the corporate public sector business development program, corporate-wide internal and external communications, advertising, sponsorships, internet sales and collateral literature development.
Prior to joining Waste Pro, Ron owned a marketing communications (advertising and public relations) company for twenty years and, early in his career was the marketing director for a consulting engineering firm with fifty offices throughout the Southeast. He has been active in the Central Florida community chairing the boards of many social service organizations and served as a Commissioner of the Orlando Housing Authority. He has been a featured speaker at the national Waste Expos in 2012 and 2013.
Ron is a 1968 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Journalism and served as an information spokesperson in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War era.
Tim Herman - Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer
With more than 30 years of experience in the solid waste industry, Tim Herman has served in virtually every facet of the business, starting from the back of a garbage truck to founding Weiswaste and Delta Management Group – two of the nation’s largest waste brokerage firms, which have managed waste programs for Target, Office Depot, Kohl’s, Tractor Supply, Brinker International, Radio Shack, Best Buy and many other leading companies.
In 2007, Entrepreneur Magazine listed Delta Management Group as one of the 500 fastest growing privately-held companies in the US (#161). Target Stores named Delta Management Group its Environmental Vendor of the Year and honored the company with their Partner of Excellence Award in 2005.

Shannon Early - Director of Human Resources
An Orlando native, Shannon Early has more than twenty years of Human Resources experience. Shannon is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and she is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society for Human Resource Management.
Shannon began her career with SunTrust Banks, Inc. where she was responsible for recruiting and employee relations within their Operations division. In 1998, she joined the American Automobile Association (AAA) and in 2004, transitioned to the position of Manager of Employee Development and Staffing. In this role, Shannon held HR responsibilities that covered a variety of assignments, including recruitment, employee relations/engagement, management training, EEO/AA, and policy development.
Shannon joined Waste Pro in 2011 as Manager of Training and Human Resources. In August 2013, she assumed the responsibilities of Director of Human Resources. Shannon is a member of the Employers Association Forum board and is a resident of Orlando, FL.
Tim Dolan – Regional Vice President, Central/North Florida
A Ft. Lauderdale native, Tim Dolan is the Central Florida Regional Vice President for Waste Pro. A graduate of North Carolina State with a Bachelor's degree in History, Tim is responsible for operations in one of Waste Pro's most successful and profitable regions, which includes service in 61 of the 67 counties in the state of Florida.
He originally began his tenure with Waste Pro as Division Manager of Orlando and quickly worked his way through the ranks. A garbage career that started when he was 15, during the summers, has resulted in more than 30 years in the waste industry, including 10 years as part of the Waste Pro Family, assisting the company in its unprecedented growth.
In addition to his participation in numerous community organizations and events, Tim serves on the Seminole State Foundation Board and is a member of the Private Business Association of Seminole. Tim is a resident of Longwood, FL.

Keith Banasiak – Regional Vice President, Southwest Florida
As a Graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in Business Administration, Keith Banasiak has 24 years of management experience in the waste industry. In 1987, he started in the non-ferrous scrap processing and reclamation industry. Primarily responsible for processing operations, he managed fleet operations, disposal of residual special waste and the facility environmental requirements of state and local governments.
In 2001, he relocated to Ft. Myers as Regional Manager for a private solid waste and disposal hauling company. He was responsible for managing two (2) facilities in a four (4) county area in South Florida. These municipal contracts consisted of 85,000 residential units and 7500 commercial accounts.
Presently, his area contains facilities in Lee, Manatee and Pinellas counties in Florida with over 200,000 residential units and 10,000 commercial accounts. His area of responsibility covers the west coast of Florida from Pasco County south to Collier County.
Keith serves as the Chairman of Keep Lee County Beautiful and current Board Member and past Chairman of Keep Manatee Beautiful. He is a resident of Ft. Myers, FL.

Ralph Mills – Regional Vice President, Southern Region
Ralph Mills, a Florida native, is the Regional Vice President of the expansive Southern Region, including Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, South Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle. A veteran in the solid waste industry, he is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance. With more than 28 years of industry experience, Ralph has served in virtually every capacity of solid waste hauling and landfill operations and administration. Previously with Waste Management, he served as the Manager of Sales, Operations, then serving as District Manager before becoming Controller for the competitive South Florida market. He later ventured into Managerial and Operations roles, including those on the Regional level in North Florida.
Ralph came to Waste Pro in 2006 to further expand his managerial skills as Regional Vice President and enjoys the challenges that accompany new "start-up" operations. He currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida.

Bob ten Haaf – Regional Vice President, Georgia & the Carolinas
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bob ten Haaf currently serves as Regional Vice President for Georgia and North and South Carolina. With more than 15 years of experience in the environmental industry Bob has been responsible for impressive sales and revenue growth with several solid waste and recycling companies. Additionally, Bob owned and operated his own disposal company, Van Dyken Disposal, for five years before selling to BFI Waste Systems, which was eventually acquired by Republic Services.
During his time with Republic Services, Bob was responsible for contributing $65 million in annual revenue to the Southwest Michigan market through effective leadership and budget management. He managed a $15.3 million operational budget with high performance margins and exceeded sales goals.
Bob joined Waste Pro in 2011 and supports 9 locations throughout Georgia and the Carolinas. He currently resides in the Charlotte, NC area.

Russell Mackie – Regional Vice President, Southeast Florida
Originally from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Russell has served in all capacities from sales and operations to maintenance and management. In the industry for 20 years, his first job was working for a garbage company in junior high school, as a maintenance assistant with Southeast Reclamation. Russell then worked for Delta Recycling, as their Sales and Marketing Director, prior to joining the Waste Pro team. Russell accepted a position with Waste Pro in 2001 at the, then start-up office of Ft. Pierce, with one truck and $6,000 per month in revenue. In 12 years, he became the youngest Regional Vice President in Waste Pro's history and developed the Southeast Florida region to more than $85 million in revenue. The Southeast Florida region includes service to more than 300,000 homes and 3,500 businesses, accounting for in excess of $95 million of revenue. His accomplishments were recognized in 2012 when he was selected as one of Waste & Recycling News' Rising Stars, recognizing him as one of the industry's up-and-coming leaders under the age of 45.

David Schneider - Regional Vice President, North Florida
David began his career at a public-owned solid waste company in 1989 immediately after graduating from The Ohio State University. Throughout his 25-year career in the waste industry he has held leadership roles as a Sales Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager and District Manager. Prior to joining the Waste Pro team, David was an Area Manager for a solid waste company in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
David joined the Waste Pro team in 2013 as the Division Manager of Sarasota/Bradenton, where he supervised 90 fulltime employees operating a fleet of 50 trucks, who provide services to more than 76,000 residential customers. In July 2015, he was promoted to Divisional Vice President, expanding his role to also overseeing the Clearwater, Fanning Springs and Citrus divisions of Florida.
In November 2015, David was promoted to Regional Vice President of North Florida, a role in which he became responsible for the operations of the Fanning Springs, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Lake City and Putnam divisions, as well as one transfer station, one landfill and one Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). David oversees the work of more than 225 employees across the region who operate 188 compressed natural gas powered and diesel trucks and service more than 167,400 residential customers. The region’s largest municipal customer is the city of Jacksonville with more than 70,000 households serviced.

Roland Joyner – Regional Vice President, Southern Region
The vast majority of Roland’s career successes have been accomplished in the waste industry. He held managerial positions at national waste companies for more than 20 years, prior to joining Waste Pro.
He joined the Waste Pro team in 2011 as the Division Manager of the Asheville, North Carolina location and in 2014 he was promoted to Regional Vice-President of Waste Pro’s southern region, a role which he currently holds.
Roland manages the Memphis facility on the Tennessee/Mississippi state line as well as operating facilities in Columbus, Meridian, Hattiesburg, Greenwood, Jackson, Kemper Landfill, Sowaco Landfill and Bozeman Landfill in Mississippi. He supervises the work of more than 309 employees across the region, who operate 250 trucks to service more than 145,300 residential customers.

Scott Corley – Divisional Vice President, Central and Northern Alabama
Scott has more than 20 years of managerial experience in the waste industry, getting his start in a family-owned waste company in 1980 in Birmingham, Alabama. After a few years of working for the company, Scott became a co-owner. From 1993 to 2002, he worked for another waste company in Mobile, Alabama serving in positions ranging from Operations Manager to Site Manager, and later to Municipal Marketer and District Manager. In the nine years that followed he worked as a market area manager for an environmental services company in Birmingham.
He joined the Waste Pro team in 2013 as the Senior Division Manager of the Birmingham location, and in 2014 he was promoted to Divisional Vice President of Central and Northern Alabama.
He manages the Birmingham Hauling Division in which he supervises 63 employees who operate 43 trucks, he also manages Waste Pro’s American Recycling of Alabama facility, in which 10 employees operate one truck as well as the Childersburg Satellite Hauling offices with 10 employees and 11 trucks. Scott’s region services more than 54,000 residential customers across Central and Northern Alabama.

Josh Densberger - Corporate Safety Director
Josh has more than 12 years of experience in the safety industry. He began his career in 2004 as a Firefighter for the Orange County Fire Rescue Department in Winter Park, Florida. In this position, Josh worked closely with the local community to increase their level of fire and life safety awareness with the goal of preventing accidents and injuries.
In 2011, he started teaching the principles of fire science and safety to both traditional and adult learners as an Adjunct Instructor for Seminole State College in Sanford, Florida, a role which he currently holds.
He joined the Waste Pro team in 2013 as the Corporate Safety Specialist. In this role he monitored and assessed hazardous and unsafe situations and developed measures to promote personnel safety.
In 2015 he was promoted to Corporate Safety Director, a role in which he currently leads a team that builds plans, policies and procedures to correct unsafe behaviors among employees throughout Waste Pro’s Southeastern footprint. His team also oversees the implementation of initiatives related to occupational health and safety issues, they investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, such as The Department of Transportation (DOT), The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The University of Wyoming and a Master’s degree in Fire and Emergency Management from Oklahoma State University. He also holds a driving governance performance certification from Harvard University as well as certifications of emergency medical technician, fire officer 1 and fire instructor 3 from the State of Florida.
Josh is an exercise fanatic and prides himself in following a strict fitness program. He and his wife have three children who are, respectively, six years-old, three years-old and three months, whom they consider their primary hobby. In their free time, Josh and his family like to travel.
Rob Grimm - Director of Information Systems
Rob has more than 15 years of experience in information technology and business solutions with a wide array of expertise in project management, data center design, life cycle management and business processes. Prior to joining Waste Pro, he held Director positions in information technology and marketing, aligning top-performing teams in the transportation and construction industries.
Throughout his career, Rob lead several successful initiatives to pair technology solutions with business needs, one of which being the execution of a technology roadmap designed to meet a construction company’s expansion during the housing boom. He contributed to the development of new sales software to manage product workflow and reduce the time cycle of the company’s home construction process and he also collaborated with key executives to measure performance metrics.
He successfully oversaw the implementation of Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning system including manufacturing, service, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), inventory, and finance among other modules. The project resulted in three different legacy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems being merged into a single solution across the enterprise.
Additionally, Rob managed the deployment of a complete Cisco environment encompassing wireless, voice, data and security solutions in North America. This allowed the company to scale rapidly while ensuring consistent levels of service to employees and customers.
Rob joined the Waste Pro team in 2016 as the Director of Information Systems, a role in which he manages a team of professionals who deliver technology solutions to datacenters, processing facilities and regional offices throughout Waste Pro’s Southeastern footprint. Vendor management is a primary responsibility of Rob’s team, as Waste Pro continually partners with top talent to provide technology resources.
Rob obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Logistics from Penn State University. He and his wife have two children.
